What is the Sports Voucher program?
The Sports Voucher program is a Government of South Australia initiative administered by the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing. The program provides an opportunity for primary school aged children from Reception to Year 9 (as of 2022) to receive up to a $100 discount on sports or dance membership/registration fees. The purpose is to increase the number of children playing organised sport or participating in dance activities by reducing cost as a barrier.
This means Sports Vouchers will be available for all children aged 5 to 15 years old from 2024 (those born from 2009 to 2019 inclusive will be eligible).
Can you use the sports voucher for all groups at the Seacliff Recreation Centre?
As from the 1st January 2022 the sports voucher is being expanded to include students in Year 8 and 9. Please check with each member group directly to find out which sessions the sports voucher can be used for – as there are some sessions that are not available outside those years, or you can check out our Groups by Age page for a quick overview.
Remember it is one voucher for every child per calendar year.
