The 76th Annual General Meeting was finally held on Friday 26th February 2021, due to COVID restrictions we were unable to hold it back in November 2020. It was great to finally come together and celebrate not only our dedicated volunteers, but being able to meet up again, with appropriate COVID guidelines in place throughout the evening. Everyone checking in, using our hand sanitiser units. Seacliff KinderGym provided the food and drink and it was also appropriately provided as per guidelines being served by the KinderGym crew and younger helper Ashley. Great work guys!
Seacliff Recreation Centre History Book – 1944 – 2020
We were also finally able to share a project we had been working on. Our very own printed history book, documenting from 1944 – 2020. With photos and many memories provided by our volunteers and members over the years.
We hope to continue to add to our history and welcome anyone to provide more photos and information that we can add for our next publication. All life members were presented a copy at the AGM.

Jason Kari from Seacliff Judo received a Premiers Certificate of Recognition for outstanding volunteer service. Jason has been running the Judo club for over 15 years, with two positions on the board – vice-president and facility manager – he really is a vital part of the Judo Club and our Recreation Centre. Well done to Jason – such a deserving award, we’re all so proud of you and all that you do.
We also handed out 10 year certificates to appreciate all the hard work our volunteers do – these went to Lily Reed, Rychelle Heneka, Lily Lawrence and Denae Plenty from Seacliff Calisthenics. Three 20 year certificates to Kelly Wicks, Jayde Winzel and Sheriden Milam. Two 30 year certificates to Natalie Morgan and Carol Porter from Seacliff Calisthenics. There were no life member awards this year.
Congratulations to you all – so deserving – thank you for all that you do for the centre and your groups – you are amazing!
