Physiotherapist Max Kavanagh of Back in Motion Brighton gave a presentation at the Centre recently about injury avoidance and the importance of posture. This year, the Board of Management of Seacliff Community Recreation Association Incorporated pledges to reduce our environmental and social impact by committing to investigating sustainability initiatives. You can read the pledge here.
The Seacliff Recreation Centre has recently launched a sponsorship program. Sponsoring the Centre will allow us to continue to improve the facilities for current and future users. All the information about the new program is available on the Sponsor Us page on this website.
A big thank you to City of Holdfast Bay for their support with our Community Donations Program 2015/2016 application. In November 2015, the Seacliff Community Recreation Association Incorporated received STARCLUB recognition. The Centre is one of only thirty clubs in SA to achieve STARCLUB Recognition so far. STARCLUB will allow the Centre to be better recognised by the Government and other organisations that value the role well-run clubs can play in our community. Copyright in [...]

The Seacliff Recreation Centre's Annual General Meeting for 2015 saw several awards been given to members of the Centre's board of management and volunteers. On Sunday 22nd November, the Seacliff Recreation Centre attended the 2015 Glenelg Christmas Pageant. The Centre received the Best Community Group award for best presenting the spirit of Christmas! Thankyou to all of those who attended the great day.
Seacliff had the great opportunity of hosting Japanese visitors who joined our training group on the 30th September 2015. Some fantastic judo techniques and ideas were shared and the kids had a great time learning from two valued instructors.
