Over the October long weekend, Seacliff Judo Club completed and helped to host the Sakura Kodokan Judo Nationals and Masters Games. The General Meeting of the Seacliff Community Recreation Association Inc will be held on Friday 27th November at 7.30pm at the Recreation Centre, 32 Yacca Road. All welcome to attend.
On Sunday 18th October the Centre attended the Brighton Primary School Garden Fun Fest and was represented by Seacliff Kindergym, Calisthenics and Judo.
Earlier this year, local artists Ricky Spier and Matt Dopheide designed and painted a wonderful new mural for the centre.
This year, the Seacliff Recreation Centre was successful with receiving a grant through Round 39 of the Active Club Program from the Office for Recreation and Sport. With the grant we are excited to proceed with obtaining new sporting equipment and uniforms, seeking new training and development opportunities and further promoting the centre.
Seacliff Kindergym featured in the Messenger newspaper in February 2015. The article discusses the acquisition of a new firetruck which was made possible through last years Messenger Community News’ inaugural community grant. To read the article click here.
Congratulations to Seacliff Calisthenics for being awarded "Runner Up" in the "Outstanding Achievement" category. Receiving prize money of $150. Well done to all the members that attended on the day.

The Seacliff Recreation Centre will be attending this years Glenelg Christmas Pageant once more. Come along and see us on Sunday 16th November from 10.30am and meet Santa in Moseley Square, plus there is lots of fantastic activities to enjoy too!
To help reduce graffiti to the centre we have new mural on the west wall overlooking the train line. Thank you to artist Ricky Speirs for all his hard work on this project. The result is amazing!
